My First ATC

Had these ATC blanks around for quite a while, and had coloured in more than one image, so while I sorted out the scraps from earlier, I quickly made this up. Going to have to do this again, it was such fun, and only took moments.
Papers - Creative Memories
Flower - Prima
Brad - Poppicrafts

PWC - Katharina's Sketch 3

This is my first attempt at this challenge which I really enjoyed doing, one of the reasons is I have a child free day, as the girls have gone to my friends in Emsworth and Mark is picking them up later after he has finished work, YIPEE playtime!!

It's a new magnolia stamp from their Stamp Club (I won the set on ebay this week - am I happy girl or what!). I've coloured her in with my Faber-Castell polychromics and sansador, the papers are by Creative Memories, CS Bazzil Bling with the cuttlebug embossing folder. Sentiment stamp cuddly buddly.

Hope you like, off to the garden centre later and then to work. Enjoy your weekend.
Not the best photo, camera playing up.

Fabby-tast-ic

I was feeling very proud of myself yesterday, as I finished the alterations on my customer curtains thanks to the rain, as the girls and I watched Parent Trap and I sewed. YIPEE.

Last night I made a couple of these cards, the stamp is by Stamping Bella - Fabby - paper and ribbons from stash, just a simple design again but I like it - nice and fresh my hubby said, though this morning he did say I need some fun sentiments - cost money dear I said, but I need to stop buying images and buy words!!!

Have a great day.

A card to me from Alicia

When I went to bed last night I found this card from Alicia. I had given her some Bella images and she had coloured this one in, mounted it and cut out FUN with her cuttlekids machine and dies. The message inside read: To mum, I love you but not all the time. Love Alicia. LOL - the sentiment sums it up!!

Stamp Something

Vanessa from Nessynotes kindly sent me this images, thanks Vanessa. I've coloured it in with Copics, I love these, the colours are so great. I've put a couple of white dots on her cheeks to highlight them (keep seeing this around the blogs and had a go), stickles on her wings, and lots of faux stitching.

I thought I would enter this for the Stamp Something and Friday Sketchers Stamps challenge. I've used the layout from the Friday Sketchers, and faux stitched it with a souffle pen for Stamp Something, as their challenge was anything faux (stitching).

Hope you all have a great weekend, won't be around for a few days as I have a sewing job to do altering a client curtains, yuk, but I keep thinking of the money, LOL. Anita

Bead, Beads, Beads

I came across this card I made last year for my daughter Alicia, and just wanted to share it with you, it was one of my first cards I made, and I handmade the beaded fish and seahorse. I think I've improved since then, but I still really like this one. Alicia will be seven next month, so I need to get my thinking hat on.

The stamp is by Woodware, and I made the mermaids tail with fantasy fibre, starfish with bazzil bling, the fibres are from my knitting stash. Number cut with Studio quickutz die.

Thanks for looking.

An Award

Vanessa from Nessynotes has given me this award thanks Vanessa, I'm really chuffed my first award. Ill update later with whom I'm going to pass this onto.

Ismaki Challenge - 19

Though I would have a go at this challenge as I aways look at it, thinks it's great and never do it. So here is another first.

Same papers as yesterday, but the opposite way round, the image is the same as yesterday as I had coloured in six of these. The greetings are Stampin Up, flowers prima and brads from stash. These again are very simple, I try to add more but I think my cards look messy, I think I need to accept that my look is less not more!! LOL.

Thanks for looking.

Summer Girl

As you can see made four cards last night, all the same papers but slightly different. Really enjoyed making these, coloured in with copics, I've used some dimensional glaze on the cheeks. The flowers were cut with my wizard and dies, and I then curved them by using a large embossing tool on them. Check out http://www.joanne-mainlyflowers.blogspot.com/ this is where the idea came from.

First Something - Cupcake

I thought I would do this for for the new challenge site Stamp Something, this week it is "first's" - this can mean anything from first birthday, new technique, new stamp. So while I've been blog hopping I've seen some wonderful cards made with cupcake stamps, so I thought I would have a go - so this is my FIRST.

As you can see it is a very simple card made with a magnolia stamp and layered and matted onto CS and DP. At the bottom of the picture you will see a cupcake paper case which I bought from my local cook shop, I used this as inspiration for the the cupcakes, you might just be able to see the spots on the paper case.

Hope you like.

Now why don't you pop on over to this new challenge site: www.stampchallenges.blogspot.com

Happy Anniversary

It was my wedding anniversary yesterday and this is the card I made for my lovely hubby Mark. We've been married for 15 years - where has the time gone?

It is certainly not my best but was made with love, the stamps are by Stampin Up entitled Campout. I've coloured in with watercolour pencils, used paper from my stash and ribbon and knitting wool (from wool collection!!). The green clip is a clip-it by Rob & Bob. I chose the camping theme as we both like camping and now that the girls are older we have started taking them camping - they love it - all that air certainly makes them sleep better. We are hoping to go camping in June, but will need to take Alicia out of school, have to say I can't wait, must admit we do it in style, have to have electricity!!!!

Have a great Friday.

Here comes a Pirate

Another party for one of my girls, this time a used my new Stamping Bella Little Johnny Depster - isn't he cute. I've used hopscotch papers again by K&Co, mounted him onto bazzil cardstock, doodled around the edges with a white and grey souffle pen. The skull is made with Alicia's (my six year old daughters) cuttlekids machine and die - isn't it great!! Number 7 is a peel off!!!

Hope you like, I coloured in 3 other Johnny images, mounted the papers onto the cards, but didn't finish them off, maybe tonight.

Have a great Thursday.
