Alicia's Cuttlekids Card

Mark and I bought Alicia a Cuttlekid for christmas, which she has enjoyed playing with, this is the first card she has made. It rather good for a six year old, she even put eyelashes on the bug, I think I need to watch out. She would like some more crafty stuff and is rather envious of my cupboard, which at the moment she can not get into - I'll have to sort out some bits for her some bling I think. Hope you could leave her a comment it would make her day.

Paper Nation

I was given some free decoupage sheets from Paper Nation, I made this card, there is something theraputic about cutting out the paper with a cup of tea or a class of wine. It is a kick stand card, which was easy to make but looks really effective, even my hubby was impressed, normall he says "thats quite nice" he sounds like my grandma, that was her favourite saying.

Tilda & Co Challenge Blog

The Challenge for this week is to use something shiny on your card. I've used mirror card on mine to make the "tin" bath and then 3-D mounted it (only very slightly with 1mm foam pads - I love these as the cards fit in the post box even with several layers of decoupage). The paper is just a selection from Papermania, but I think colours go really well.

I made one similar to this one for my friend Jenny who had a baby boy called Theo just before christmas, I put his name on it, it made a great birth card.

Stamping Caz Blog Site

After looking at Stamping Caz site, and seeing how she had created a card with the Wizard Nestabilities dies, I thought I would have a go, I have to say what a great idea to make a quick, simple and beautiful card.

So while my stuff way out, I made another Penny Black card, just very simple again with spring colours. I purchase these stamps from my local craft shop (Art of Craft), when they held a charity event, where you could sell your unwanted supplies - so I am feeling quite good as I bought stash and gave to Charity - and it was the Hospice I work for.

I went to the Make It show at Farnborough on Friday, I was very restrained and only decided to buy ribbons, and flowers. I would have liked to buy some stamps, but I am desperatley trying to use up the supplies I already have.

Beaded Bracelet

I've been trying to up load this picture for the last week, but have been having problems. Anyway this is my latest attempt so fingers crossed.

I've knitted the bracelet on fine wire with seed and bugle beads, it is for my step-mum-in-law, she kindly made the girls and myself a button bracelet each, so I thought I would make her one too.

Another Magnolia

I've not mastered editing the blog, so here is another magnolia card, it is near enough the same, except I have only embellished it with doodlebug crystals. This is for Charlotte's friend Sarah who's birthday is on Saturday. I hope she likes it.

Magnolia Cards

Well I've finally sat down to add something to my blog. This is a card I have made for my daughter's birthday which is in February. Charlotte will be four. I've used my wizard nesty dies and a magnolia stamp. I hand made the flower (it is crochet if you are wondering) added a sen plus flower and a dovecraft brad. The paper is Tutti Frutti by cardwork cards, and the other cardstock is bazzil basics. I'm quite pleased with the card.
