Teddy Bear

After work last night had a bit of inspiration and this is what I made.
I really enjoyed doing this, and am pleased with it. The paper is double sided and is by Me and My Big Ideas. I've used my scalloped rectangle nestabilities and used a craft knife to cut round one of the flowers and then inserted the image behind it. I've also used my new spots and dots cuttlebug embossing folder, you can't really see in the photo but it looks good IRL. The usual sparkle on the wings. The ribbons is from my stash, and the butterfly is from a bracelet of my daughters which she broke - thanks Alicia!!!
I've coloured the image in with my Copics, these are so great, I think I am getting better at layering the colour - but practice makes perfect.

Thanks Vanessa from Nessys Notes for the image.

Spots and Magnolia

No chance to card make the last week as hubby decided to knock the wall down between the kitchen and the dinning room. This will now give us a kitchen/diner and so much more space, I have spent the last week cleaning up brick dust, it always surprises me how much there is, and he still hasn't finished, another six inches to be removed to make the wall flush.

Anyway to the card, a quick one a made last night for my stock as one of my customers has placed a bulk order.

I'm pleased with this, yet another simple card. Hope you like. Have a great day.

Wow - 70!!

I can't actually believe it but my dad is seventy today - he certainly doesn't look like it or act like it!! Happy Birthday Dad. Alicia gave him a quick call this morning before school to sing him "Happy Birthday" I've no idea what he thought as she put the phone down, I'll ring him later and then pop round with his present - a barometer for the garden.

Anyway to the card, self explanatory. I've used a penny black stamp I've had a while which I think can cover a variety of things I also made a card for my next door neighbours son as he starts and new job on Monday which is exactly the same except it says congratulations.

Hi I'm Back

Well we are back from our hols, and we had a great time now back to reality, school runs, swimming lessons, shopping, ironing etc. LOL.

Anyway here is my card which I made last night, it was for Alicia who will be seven on Friday, but I think I might have another go tonight - she wants some stamped images so I thought I might make her a wallet card.

Card self explanatory really, Tilda on Swing, coloured with with polychromics and sansador. Paper making memories, cuddly buddly sentiment stamp, ribbon from stash. You can't really see on the card but I used a shimmering chalk on the back of the stamped image for the sky, it is very soft and subtle, I think I might use my twinkling H2o's next time.

Thanks for stopping by

Not been around

Sorry haven't been around for the last week as I have lots of UFO (unfinished objects), and I wanted to finish knitting a cardigan before we go on holiday. Off for a few days next week, so I won't be posting for a while.

And Another One (ATC)

Well I was on a roll sorting out my scraps so I made another ATC, same image as yesterday as it was already coloured in and went with these papers.

My First ATC

Had these ATC blanks around for quite a while, and had coloured in more than one image, so while I sorted out the scraps from earlier, I quickly made this up. Going to have to do this again, it was such fun, and only took moments.
Papers - Creative Memories
Flower - Prima
Brad - Poppicrafts

PWC - Katharina's Sketch 3

This is my first attempt at this challenge which I really enjoyed doing, one of the reasons is I have a child free day, as the girls have gone to my friends in Emsworth and Mark is picking them up later after he has finished work, YIPEE playtime!!

It's a new magnolia stamp from their Stamp Club (I won the set on ebay this week - am I happy girl or what!). I've coloured her in with my Faber-Castell polychromics and sansador, the papers are by Creative Memories, CS Bazzil Bling with the cuttlebug embossing folder. Sentiment stamp cuddly buddly.

Hope you like, off to the garden centre later and then to work. Enjoy your weekend.
Not the best photo, camera playing up.

Fabby-tast-ic

I was feeling very proud of myself yesterday, as I finished the alterations on my customer curtains thanks to the rain, as the girls and I watched Parent Trap and I sewed. YIPEE.

Last night I made a couple of these cards, the stamp is by Stamping Bella - Fabby - paper and ribbons from stash, just a simple design again but I like it - nice and fresh my hubby said, though this morning he did say I need some fun sentiments - cost money dear I said, but I need to stop buying images and buy words!!!

Have a great day.

A card to me from Alicia

When I went to bed last night I found this card from Alicia. I had given her some Bella images and she had coloured this one in, mounted it and cut out FUN with her cuttlekids machine and dies. The message inside read: To mum, I love you but not all the time. Love Alicia. LOL - the sentiment sums it up!!

Stamp Something

Vanessa from Nessynotes kindly sent me this images, thanks Vanessa. I've coloured it in with Copics, I love these, the colours are so great. I've put a couple of white dots on her cheeks to highlight them (keep seeing this around the blogs and had a go), stickles on her wings, and lots of faux stitching.

I thought I would enter this for the Stamp Something and Friday Sketchers Stamps challenge. I've used the layout from the Friday Sketchers, and faux stitched it with a souffle pen for Stamp Something, as their challenge was anything faux (stitching).

Hope you all have a great weekend, won't be around for a few days as I have a sewing job to do altering a client curtains, yuk, but I keep thinking of the money, LOL. Anita
