Tilda in Grass (or Heather)

Just a quick post this morning of three cards I made last night, one is for a birthday tomorrow and the others for my stash. If you click on the first image, you will see that I have stamped a frame then mounted the greeting onto this (I do wish I had aged this bit, as it looks rather white - but it was late last night, and I didn't think about it). Hope you like.

Miss Sophisticated

Alicia has a birthday party to go to and my card box, did not have anything suitable for a seven year old girl. So out came my new Eloise Greengrass stamp isn't she gorgeous, I think this is a very sophisticated card for Holly, but I think she will like it.

I've painted her with Twinkling H20's and used crystal stickles on her wings (I think they are wings but it could be her dress).

Hope you like, might be back tomorrow as I'm not going to work today, Charlotte has a really bad tummy bug and is running a temperature, Mark's at work so I've had to take leave, oh well thats life.

Super Tyler by Stamping Bella.

I painted these images in earlier in the week, I know they are not the normal Super Hero outfits colours, but I wanted to use my new Hopscotch Papers by K&Co. I really like the brads, as they give a masculine feel to the card, these brads can purchased from Poppicrafts.
The card size is 5x5, but I wish I had used 6x6 as I think it would look good with SUPER along the top and the recipients name a along the bottom e.g. SUPER ROWAN, I'm going try that for Alicia's friend Rowan's 7 birthday. So watch this space!!

Have a great Friday.

Emmybella

I made four of these cards last night, all exactly the same, but when I upload the pictures from the camera, I only seemed to get this one. I haven't the time to mess about with the PC as I am meant to be cleaning.

Anyway very much self explanatory Emmybella coloured in with water pencils, papers by K&CO (Citrus Neopolitan Scrap Pad to Go - free with a subscription to Scrapbook Inspirations). The sentiment is by Cuddly Buddly and ribbon from stash.

Hope you all have a good Tuesday, wish me luck with the cleaning the house looks like a bomb site!!

K & Co Papers and Tilda

Sorry not been around much this week, have been having fun with the girls. Been to Alice Holt Forestry Commission, around the the Historic Dockyards in Portsmouth (fab time had by all, hubby loved the climbing wall and the helicopter simulator), and a visit to Wisley Gardens, to see their new glass house.

Anyway enough of that and back to the cards, I made the first one on thursday night, the cirlce was cut with my CM circle cutters, I came up with this idea whilst blog hopping. The second card I made last night, what do you think? does it need another embellishment eg. flower? I'm not sure. I don't normally like stamping directly onto the card as I get very irritated when it does not work out, but while I was in craft cupboard yesterday, I can across this box of Penny Black stamps, which I bought last year and had yet to ink. I love the flower and bee, which I coloured in with Sakura glitter pens, the hello stamp is part of the same set.

As you might have noticed bit of a theme on the paper and ribbons at the moment, after reading Mish Mash blog about not hoarding and using your stash, I've been trying to work with the same set of papers for a bit, adding just bits on bobs from my cupboard. I've yet to use all the different papers in the pack, so you'll be seeing some more cards with this paper pack.

Anyway hope you have a good weekend, might be back tomorrow but I have work tonight and sometimes I just like to crash when I get back.

Beret Tilda

Been busy the last couple of days, seeing friends and families during this spring break/late Easter hols.

Made this card on Tuesday night, and two others with the same colours but slight different - might have noticed that I've been producing more than one - have decided to do this as I've got all the stuff out, and I just alter each one slightly eg. ribbon. As you can see it is another Tilda, one of the new 2008 ones. Really like this image, she is very cool. I've coloured her in with copics, papers K&Co, cardstock bazzil basics, ribbon from stash and zoomzs (the beads) from Stamp Galaxy. I've doodled around the edge of the bazzil (had a bit of wobble - and I hadn't had a glass of wine!!).

Hope you all have a good weekend.

Hanna for Liz

Three postings on the trot that must be a record for me!!

The first card was made for my friend Liz as it is her birthday next week, it is shopping Hanna, as Liz loves to shop, especially for her house which she is hoping to move into this month, she's been having it built for the last 10 months and is desperate to move out of her temporary home. Hopefully everything goes to plan. The second card is for my stock, and has no greeting as yet, I'm just about to order some more greeting stamps from Stampin Up via StampingCaz Stampers Ten, when they arrive I will add.

Anyway back to the cards, they both are Hanna as you can see and I've used up the scraps of paper from yesterdays card, adding just a little bit of a new sheet, have to say I really like this paper it is by K&Co again, and part of 8x8 pack, so everything co-ordinates - makes life so easy.

Coloured in some Magnolias last night, so come back tomorrow to see them, I'm going to use some more of these papers.

Penny Black Elephant

I did have time to yesterday to make some more cards, but before work, the girls were tired after playing in the snow and had sat down to watch Oliver. So out came my crafting stuff, these took about an hour to make, though I had coloured the images in last week using my copics. I am still getting used to them, and I don't think I have coloured them in as well as some of my other cards.

The papers are K&Co, die cut flower by Quickutz (I haven't used my Squeeze for quite a while so it was good to get it out), wooden butterfly from local quilting shop when I went to buy some quilting supplies - it was in the bargain box, 10 for 50p, not bad eh? Ribbon from stash.

Well the children are off for a fortnight now, so no running around like a headless chicken in the morning, though they have tried my patience this morning by pouring honey all over their chairs, why I hear you ask, because they wanted to eat it. LOL.

Have a good monday.

Sunday 6 April 2008

Bella for Jenny

In my friend Jenny's birthday this month, so I thought this image was great, as she has a new baby and is sleep deprived and I know how much she loves her PJ's and her bed. While I was making one I thought I would make another two, as you can see they are all slightly different.

Hope you all have a good sunday, I'm off to work this evening when I get back I might sit down and make some more cards.

Paper: K & Co
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Sage Shadow and Barley Banana
Stamp: Stampin Up - Circle of Friendship
Ribbons: local craft shop

Its Snowing!!

Well my husband can't quite believe it, but we have snow, the girls have been out this morning building snowmen, so I thought I'd just post a picture of them enjoying themselves in the garden.

Thursday 3 April 2008

Woof, Woof

Charlotte has gone to nursery and mum is having her this afternoon, so after not such a good night as we had a visitor in our bed for the third night on the trot, I am feeling rather tired, so instead of cleaning I'm having some time for myself.

So I decided to spend my extended free time card making (plus a bit of knitting - a cardi for Alicia).

I've had this stamp for quite a while and this is what I came up with (the inspiration came from http://www.inknrubba.blogspot.com/), I have to say I really like these and enjoyed making them. I've coloured the image in with copics again!! and used papers by doodlebug, prima flower and flowers, ribbons and ric rac brad from http://www.poppicrafts.com/ (she does fantastic ribbon kits, check her out).

I hope you like.

Tuesday 1 April 2008

Another Rabbit

I've really enjoyed playing with this stamp, I have to say I just love her dress. I've used copics again and layered up the colour to add depth to the face. As you can see this is a very simple card.

Hope you like, off now to do the cleaning, LOL.
